Nissan Frontier AC will not shut off?
My AC will not shut off at times. This is not due to the automatic AC feature when the control knob is turned to vent the windshield. If the vehicle is allow to sit off for a while it ruturns to normal operation. However, it operates normal for only a while. Then it happens again. It is still very cold when it runs. A: Here we go again Nissan Technical bulliten # NTB-03-048a says that is a normal operation if the outside temp is more than 37 degrees the A/C compressor will cycle even though the A/C is turned off. The only way the A/C can actually be turned off is cycle the key and not turn on the blower motor or defrost or A/C. The A/C light in the switch is not even illuminated when this happens.
