Is there a recall on SPD-R pedal cleats?

Yes, but ONLY the following aftermarket cleat. Verify the model number on the bottom of the cleat. If your cleats are model # SM-SH92 (6 degree float) then it’s affected by the recall you must take them to your local bike shop and Shimano will ship a new set replacement cleats that day.
