How is groundwater being monitored?

0

Groundwater in the vicinity of tunnel routes has been monitored since 2000. Monitoring conducted before excavation will make it possible to determine whether construction affects the normal quality of groundwater or fluctuations in it. Monitoring will continue after construction has been completed. Groundwater levels will be regularly monitored in observation pipes and selected wells in the area. The monitoring network consists of about 250 observation pipes and 160 wells. Water quality will be monitored by taking samples.
