How does IMH work?
Our small undercuts are specially shaped to allow easy straightening and releasing from the mold (see picture at right). Additionally, we have pioneered techniques for fabricating inserts with improved surface finish and lubricity. How much does IMH cost? There are two cost components to IMH: one-time tooling modifications and technology license fees. The tooling charges depend on the inserts required and their shapes. Tooling costs are $200-$500 per square inch. License fees are based on volume. See Expected Cost. How long does it take to start using IMH? Customers can be up and running with IMH in 6-8 weeks. Our Implementation section provides an overview of the process. Will any loop fabric work with IMH? Yes. IMH works well with woven and non-woven loop materials. IMH has been successfully tested with fabrics common to the hook and loop industry. My product requires a large hook field area. Are large areas practical? Yes. IMH has been successfully deployed in parts as large as 30 s
