What is WRC?
The Workers’ Compensation Risk Certification (WRC, pronounced “work”) is a staffing-specific program focusing on the critical area of safety in the co-employer relationship. The WRC Certified Seal identifies a firm’s commitment to safety early in the sales process. The WRC standard is administered by industry leadership including the WRC Advisory Council, the American Staffing Association (ASA), the voice of the staffing industry, and RCS Services (RCS), the nation’s fourth largest independent risk management consulting firm. Drawing influence from the ISO family of standards, staffing firms undergo a comprehensive operational evaluation process to earn the designation WRC Certified. This includes a review of how they prescreen, qualify and interview applicants. The process contemplates how employees are evaluated, matched to jobs and trained before they are sent to a worksite.
