What Involves A Chiropractic Education?
Chiropractors go through an immense amount of schooling to obtain a “Doctor of Chiropractic” degree. Pre-requisites include an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 2 years focused on basic sciences. Chiropractic school is a four year program with at least 900 hours of supervised clinical treatments in a chiropractic clinic. During schooling, students must pass several written and oral national board exams. In addition to the national exams, some states also require graduates to pass a state board exam in order to practice in that state.
