What are daikon radishes?
We will very soon have a menu item called “recipe corner” on the web page. In addition to recipes, one member not only suggested we should have photos of the vegetables, but also volunteered to take the photos and send them to Joe (our webmaster) to post. Now that’s the kind of suggestion I love! In the interim period, even if you don’t know what they are, or what to do with them, you have to at least enjoy the aesthetics of these daikon radishes! They are so beautiful! They are also fun to harvest. One member who is a chef told me he uses them like water chestnuts. They can also be prepared as if they are carrots, or used in stir-fry or used fresh in a salad. 5. Antique tractor show.
