Whats new at the British Library?
Aslib Engineering Group, 16 May 2006 This event presented an opportunity for the British Library (BL) to outline it’s new and existing services and for information workers to update themselves on what the BL has to offer, particularly to engineering librarians and researchers. The event was well attended by both members and non-members of the Engineering Group. The two speakers were Barry Smith, the BL’s Marketing Manager, who gave an outline of the BL’s services and Nigel Spencer, the Research Manager, who focused on services to researchers. Barry’s overview emphasized that the BL aims to assist all researchers in the personal, academic and commercial sectors.
