You must not have any arrests within the last six (6) months and you must be over 21 years of age unless you have special permission. Special permission must be granted from the Jail Administrator. This special permission allows children and those who do not meet the normal guidelines visitation. Occasionally inmates request their visitors to bring items to them; these items must be cleared with the jail administrator. Before bringing items to the jail, please check with the jail administrator. There are two days of the week in which inmates at the Knox County Jail may have Visitors. Visiting Hours at the Knox County Jail Sundays: 1 – 5 p.m. Thursdays: 8 – 11 a.m.
