Is Roehampton a good University?
All Universities in the UK are public institutions and are therefore subject to stringent governmental observation. This ensures quality across programmes and services. League tables often vary according to the body conducting the ranking so this should be taken as a consideration. However, a measure of Roehampton’s excellence might be gained by the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) which analysed all British Universities and specialist Colleges. Roehampton performed significantly well with almost 80 per cent of academic staff and teachers at Roehampton now regarded as being of international standing. This confirms Roehampton University’s growing and sustained reputation for excellent quality research and world-class teaching staff.
