Why is there a new dry recycling trial?

0

Sandwell Council is able to take the opportunity to use a new materials recycling facility (MRF) that has opened in the West Midlands. This new facility has enabled the council to trial a new way of collecting dry recyclable materials and significantly increase the range of materials that can be recycled. This new recycling service will be introduced to two areas of the borough during 2008/09. Phase one of the trial will commence on the week beginning 18th August 2008 in the Great Barr, Newton and Hamstead areas of West Bromwich. Phase two of the trial will commence in parts of Smethwick week commencing 1st December 2008.
