Who is Guru Nanak?
500 years ago, a beautiful man of universal consciousness, named Guru Nanak, dedicated his life to helping people to liberate themselves from the bondage of ego and tyranny. Guru Nanak went into a state of Samadhi (oneness with the universe and all of creation) for three days. At the moment of emerging, his first words were, “Ek Ong Kaar” (We are One with God) – the first line of Japji. He delivered universal teachings to the world. These teachings are available to anyone regardless of race, creed, religion, cast, or social status.
