What is AC Milan Academy?
The AC Milan Academy wants young athletes to experience the true game of soccer (11vs11). It is designed to develop a formatted team without forgetting the fundamental techniques and further educating athletes on the structure of a team and understanding positioning on the field. An Academy player must have the following characteristics: • good technical quality (visual of the game and fundamental techniques) • good tactical qualities (understanding how to take action) • good conditional capacity (strength, resistance, speed and flexibility) • personality The foundation of what athletes have learned in Milan Soccer School will now be put to work, however the situation of play will involve added pressure due to the level of intensity of the academy training program.
