Can an appeal be lodged by email?
Regulation 7(1) of the Environmental Protection Regulations 1987 requires appeals to be signed by the appellant. Accordingly, only signed original or facsimile appeal documents can be accepted. Lodgement by email is acceptable if the document is scanned and signed. Alternatively, an unsigned email appeal will be accepted provided the signed original is provided as soon as possible after the email is submitted. Click here to send an email.
