CES is pursuing electricity generation and separately heat generation projects or combined projects that can deliver either or both of these products with full CO2 capture. CES is working closely with Siemens and the DOE to develop higher temperature turbines that will enable electricity generating plants with high efficiency and full CO2 capture. The thermal projects are short-term, while the improved high efficiency power plants are scheduled for 2012 and the ultimate high efficiency plants are due 2015.
