What happened to OpusFest in 2008?
OpusFest in 2008 was cancelled for a variety of reasons. We ask that you please not listen to some of the crazy rumors out there. We had many of our staff who were working on setting up WorldCon in Denver. There were date issues that needed to be resolved. Also, the convention was purchased by a new company, Twilight Realm Media, LLC which is headed by James Nimark who has helped run Opus for the last couple of years. All these things put together just made it too difficult to organize in the short amount of time that we had for 2008. We truely apologize to our fans, guests and attendees. 5. I thought OpusFest was in May, what gives? We found that being in May caused problems with many people who wanted to attend OpusFest. From summer festivals that have rehersals in May and June to high-school and college students who were getting ready for finals. So we felt the change to March would be in the best interest of the convention and the attendees. 6. Why does OpusFest keep changing hotel
