What is Horse Sense & Sensitivity?
Horse Sense & Sensitivity is a non-profit agency providing facilities and support for hippotherapy and therapeutic horseback riding for persons with disabilities. It is operated totally with volunteers who care for the horses, maintain facilities, and assist during the physical therapy and therapeutic riding sessions. The use of the land is an in-kind contribution from the Boys Home Association. The expenses of the program are covered by individual and organization donations. Horse Sense & Sensitivity was incorporated and received 501(c)3 status in 2005.
