What are mono-culture farms?

0

A farm (using the term very loosely) that can be organic certified or conventional that just grows one thing. Without a diverse amount of life, feeding off each other, a farm no longer is a farm in my mind, and certainly is NOT sustainable. This is the type of farming that produces food for supermarkets. Mass produced, efficient, and consistent, where everything looks the same, just like a supermarket.
