Room draw is the day you select your room and suite. The order in which you are called to select your room is based on your lottery number. For instance, if you currently live in an 18-person suite but would like an 8-person suite in 2009-2010, you must go through the lottery. All 8 people interested in obtaining this suite, should pick a lottery number on April 7th. The person with the LOWEST lottery number can pull all other people into that suite. However, you must have the exact number of suite members. Also, you are not guaranteed to receive a 4-person, 8-person or 18-person suite. It depends on the lottery system. How are Lottery Numbers Assigned? Residents who have completed their online housing materials may draw a lottery number for the appropriate room draw: Weller House, Cafaro 4-person, Cafaro Jr/Sr/ Grad, or Cafaro Freshman/Sophomore.
