How young can a guinea pig have pups?

Boars can have them as young as 3 weeks, sows at 4 weeks. Its not healthy for a sow to give birth this young though, it’s best to wait until they are about 4 months old. Please don’t leave breeding too late in the sow’s life (past 1 year and 2 months), it is not very healthy for them and will be harder for them to give birth as the pelvic bones will fuse together. 13. My piggy has bald spots behind his ears!!! Help! There is no need to panic! All guinea pigs have bald patches behind their ears, it’s only natural. I like it how the skin feels soft in that particular place.
