Is the annexe building a mosque?
No. It was built and opened by PM Goh Chok Tong in 1993 to upgrade and complement the facilities in the mosque mainly for administration, organising and conducting activities in accordance with the teaching of Islam and also to promote religious and social harmony. Therefore it houses the office, meeting rooms, auditorium, multi purpose hall and classrooms. The other mosque building is basically a place of worship and the main feature is the spacious prayer hall.
