What are categories and how do they work?
Categories are used to filter banners in order to show only those that are relevant to the content of your website. This is done so that the visitors to each and every website in the exchange program will be brought to a site that is interesting to them. Each Bannerlot account can specify a category that would best suit its content. Take special care in choosing the category for your site so as to be able to target a more specific group of people. On your end, you may also use categories to display specific banners with content that you want. You can tweak your settings in the Control Panel, using the Get HTML option once again.
