Which 40-50″ LCD DISPLAYS BEST SD PICTURE?
no matter which LCD TV you pick SD PQ will look bad, there are two reasons first is no matter how good SD PQ is, it looks bad as compoare to HD our eyes get used to HD PQ and obviously SD will poor quality in comparison. Secondly there is not enough Picture detail in SD and than is enhanced in bigger screen tv, so you start with less picture details and you magnify it resulting relatively poor PQ. I have noticed new recorded programs and animated new programs looks lot better in SD. I do not worry about SD quality though, the prime time program i watch is mostly HD with all major Sports events are mostly in HD for last three years from World series, NBA finals, football playoffs, Hockey finals, Major Golf tournaments, Olympics and now this year Soccer world cup will in HD in ABC and ESPNHD. I would rather buy TV with best HD PQ since that would be future.
