The term re-sit is used to describe a candidate who is repeating the examination in a subject and intends to carry forward a moderated score of 50 percent or more from the previous sitting. CSEC candidates are permitted to carry forward SBA marks for one year only and CAPE candidates for two years following the first sitting.
