What is RTC?
A. RTC stands for Responsible Thinking Classroom. This is an area that students go to if they are making choices that result in disruptive behavior in the classroom or building. It is not to be viewed as punishment but as a way to teach appropriate behavior skills. Just like students need to be taught reading skills, students this age also need to be taught appropriate behavior skills. If you have further questions or would like to visit the RTC room, please contact the school. Our RTC coordinator, Connie Wilson, would be happy to share information on this program.
