What is a QMS?

The VSE QMS (Quality Management System) is a collection of documents that define the company policies and “how to” procedures for performing all types of daily activities such as purchasing materials or conducting internal audits. QMS documents include, but are not limited to: General Policy Memorandums, Procedures, Work Instructions, and Forms. All of the QMS documents are tied together in a simple flow diagram called the Process Mapping Tree (PMT).
