What is Low PSI Power Washing?
CLH Painting & Power Washing uses only Low PSI Power Washing when Power Washing our clients exteriors. PSI stands for “Pounds per Square Inch” and your most common pressure washer is 2500 to 4000 PSI. Low PSI Power Washing is when the cleaning chemical does the work not the high pressure of the pressure washer. Typically you need to use high PSI to remove dirt from driveways, walkways and brick. But you would not use this kind of pressure on any painted surfaces on the exterior of a house. We apply our chemicals in such a way that the water going on the house is not much stronger than the stream of a garden hose. This eliminates the chance of water being blasted through windows and doors and into the house. It also prevents good paint being peeled off by the pressure of the water.
