Inoculum is rhizobia bacteria that you would add to legume seed (clovers, medics, vetch, peas, bell beans, etc.) in order to increase nitrogen fixation and growth of the legume. Seed can be coated with inoculum or inculum can be added when the seed is bagged or you can mix it in the planter when you plant.
