Is too much crying harmful?
First, let me just say that no one has ever died from crying. If you look up tears on the web you will see that tears from whatever emotions we are having at that time have chemicals in them and are actually proven to be healthy for us when released. Now, how much crying is to much? If you find yourself crying, without reason, then it may be time to have check-up and see if first, your hormones are out of balance and two, if you need some professional help and/or are headed in the way of a depression. Crying usually comes after we have been thinking about someone we deeply loved or something we have lost in our life. If losing a person is involved with this, then of course emotionally we must grieve and this for some can take months, even years and it is not unusual to cry daily when we think of this person.
