One day a week students can stay for extra help or to make up work and tests missed during the previous week. This is on Wednesdays from 7:50 PM – 8:40 AM. Students must make arrangements for their own transportation. Some teachers require that students sign up on before staying on Wednesdays. This is to ensure that the teacher has adequate time to gather the necessary materials for the variety of students that are staying. This also teaches students the value of planning ahead and keeping appointments. Some teachers also provide students with extra credit points for coming to extra help sessions..
