Why does Creative Element Power Tools require an Administrator-level account?
Some components of Creative Element Power Tools, such as File Type Doctor, Registry Agent, and the Creative Element Power Tools Control Panel, require a user account with administrator privileges. (This doesn’t have to be the account named “Administrator,” though; any administrator-level account will do.) This is by design to accommodate the security restrictions present in newer versions of Windows, such as Windows 7 and Vista. Have more than one user account? You only need to install Creative Element Power Tools once, but only the icon in the Windows Control Panel will appear for all users.
