Are the servers themselves moving from Baltimore to Andover?

A. No, the new servers are brand-new machines located in Andover, Massachusetts. They are already set up and being prepped for the ‘takeover’. The data is the only thing that is moving. Physically moving the servers and network equipment would have resulted in prolonged downtime as they would have needed to be disconnected, carefully packed and loaded on trucks, driven 400+ miles, unloaded and set up in the new location. The best estimate for this would be anywhere from 16-48 hours or more of solid downtime, with definite email loss. Obviously that was not an option. Doing the migration the way it’s planned will drastically reduce the inconvenience to our clients.
