What is Reference Transform on-the-Fly?

0

Reference Transform On-the-Fly allows all maps attached as reference files to be re-projected from each of their own coordinate systems to the coordinate system of the master file. The re-projection is done in memory only so that duplicate data in alternate projections is not required. It simply requires that each file be assigned a coordinate system using the MicroStation GeoGraphics coordinate system tools and that this coordinate system be saved in each design file.
