How Did Gulliver Reach Lilliput?
Gulliver loved to go on voyages. It was during a sea voyage that a great storm took hold of them. The ship began sinking, and only a few of Gulliver’s companions managed to grab a lifeboat and save themselves from drowning. But luck wasn’t with them that time. The boat overturned and could not be brought back in position. All of the men drowned and only Gulliver survived. He swam and swam until he finally reached shore. He walked himself away from the raging sea and was so exhausted that he fell on the floor and went to sleep. Though, he couldn’t help notice that the grass was extremely soft and short. In the morning, when Gulliver woke up, he could not move because he was tied to the ground by strong strings. Even his hair were tied to the ground, so he could not turn his head. He suddenly became aware of something moving near his foot. He tried to look but he could not move his head.
