Marching Brass horns are an industry name given to a line of horns that Zigmant Kanstul originally designed when he was with the F.E. Olds company. We helped start the Velvet Knights Drum & Bugle Corps in 1963. Always an innovator, he suggested to Olds to let him design a line of brass for the marching band like the corps, bell front, not down like a concert French horn or up like a concert baritone. It was of course an instant success and all the other manufactures copied. The industry dubbed the name “Marching Brass”. Kanstul is on their 3rd generation of Marching Brass this being their finest. It is all concert quality. Many of the nation’s championship corps for the last 20 years have played on them. You should see our 5/4 convertible tuba. The Kanstul only weighs 24 lbs. and is perfectly balanced. The whole valve section comes out and turn
