What happened to Dress Circle?
We discontinued use of the term Dress Circle (both in reference to seating sections in the theatre and to giving levels) to avoid any confusion with our new patron program. We wish to acknowledge the support of our patrons formerly known as the Dress Circle and express our enthusiastic hope you’ll become inaugural members of Orfeo Society. We invite you to explore our newly renamed giving levels which better reflect the art form. The section of the Shubert Theatre formerly associated with the Dress Circle is now called the AA-Orchestra section. This change allows our subscribers to request seating anywhere in the theatre in accordance with their preference (pending availability) with priority given to seating requests made by Orfeo Society members.
