Scalded face syndrome”?
Since 86, I have experienced hot flushing face. Allegories to alcohol (don’t drink), food, medication or anxiety have been ruled out. It’s not the change. The last 2 flare ups, I got pictures. Tingling starts on my ear lobe, moving to my chin and up to my cheeks. It is painful, even after the redness is gone. It feels like sunburn. My doctor saw the pictures of the last two flare ups. I was told it was “Scalded face syndrome”, an autoimmune response. I cannot find anything about it. Has anyone else experience this?
