HOW DOES SCAR CAMOUFLAGE WORK?
Scar camouflage can be approached in two different ways. We can discuss your options at a consultation. We can either choose to pick a pigment that is as close to your skin tone as possible and insert pigment into the scar in order to reduce its appearance or we can opt for just dry Needling without the pigment to attempt to break up the dense scar tissue and let the body work naturally to rebuild the matrix of skin in the area we treat. The results for any scar service will vary widely from client to client and even scar to scar on the same client. Opting for scar camouflage will provide more immediate results while opting for skin needling will have more natural and long lasting results, though results will not be seen for a longer period of time.
