NO, most of the time you will never see any hair from you Dobe any where. They do shed but it is so short that the only way you will see it is if it brushes up against you or you have white furniture they lay next to. You should also groom you dobe at least a few time a week. Brushing cuts down on the need for a bath and excess hair around your house not to mention make their coat shinny and healthy. I do not suggest bathing your Doberman a lot in fact very rarely is a better practice. Bathing ruins the natural luster of the coat and leads to dandruff. I wipe mine off daily with a wet cloth and brush frequently to keep dirt down. Doberman are a very clean dog unless they went out rolling in dirt you most likely wont have a problem. When you do bath them make sure the shampoo is gentle and follow it up with a conditioning rinse. You will need to have your Dobes nails clipped , I suggest once a week or at the absolute least once a month. It is easy to keep up if it is once a week. Brushi
