Who is Anwar Al-Mallah?
Anwar Al-Mallah is a recent graduate holding a Master’s in Software Engineering from the University of Maryland, University College. He, like millions of other Americans, is currently unable to find a job despite months of trying in this new great depression. His interest in theater is his primary life’s passion (which has so far never yielded a reliable pay check), and he is particularly drawn to the works of Ibsen, Saroyan, Kaufman and Hart, Lindsay and Crouse, Cole Porter, Noel Coward, and political satirists Tom Lehrer and Mark Russell. As an undergraduate in college he performed, by invitation of the Dean, a song he composed whose lyrics rhymed the names of every professor of physics at the University of Maryland. In addition, he has composed dozens of satirical song parodies over the years which have never been performed other than before small audiences of friends.
