1. It is a system in which assessment-cum-certification is available to anyone and everyone for the MES courses. As on date there are 1252 courses and practically covers all kinds of short term courses (less than six months duration). The certification is from NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training) but should not be confused with normal ITI courses. The MES list contains practically all kinds courses seen in market including like dosa making, bamboo article, paper bags etc. The list of the courses is available at http://www.dget.nic.in/mes/ 2. To avail this facility the institute need not empanel or register or take permission from NCVT or for that from anyone including even GSDM. At the time of assessment no one is even going to even ask the methodology and duration of the training. The foucs will be only on the skills acquired by the candidate. 3.
