Who drinks beer from cans?
Karlsberg was one of the first breweries to fill its beer in cans – at the time mainly for French soldiers in Indochina. If someone had predicted that the share of canned beer in the retail foodstuff trade and beverage cash and carry stores would be almost 30 percent by the end of 2002, no-one would have believed it (nor, by the way, the fact that sales of canned beer would slump by 50 percent in the first half of 2003).
