When was Kidz Online established?
Kidz Online was incorporated in 1994 as a nonprofit corp., with a mission to teach computer skills to less fortunate kids in the Washington DC area by utilizing the efforts of teen volunteers. Today, KOL is a non-profit web-based educational service. KOL strives to help students and teachers increase their knowledge of the rapidly changing world of technology and how to integrate into their ongoing new literacy experiences.
