Yep. But usually not the blue Masons or the “catechumen”, that is, the ranks below the 33rd degree. Those people just think it’s a do-gooders club. The reason why so many people believe this is because of 1) the personal testimonies of ex-freemasons who testify to this fact, and 2) occasionally the handbook that every Freemason is given after reaching the 33rd degree (which must be returned upon their death – the public is not allowed to read it) gets into public hands and the information that it contains is published.
