What make a religion Pagan?
While there are no firm guidelines, there are some common ideas that run through many pagan religions, such as: • Two central themes are interconnectedness and blessedness • Acceptance of the term Pagan • Lack of missionaries • There is often a belief in magik of some sort – the ability to affect change externally or internally by the harnessing of will or prayer. • No Central Dogma or Path • Stresses personal resposibility and acceptance of different world views. It is very important to note that these are not requirements of a pagan religion. Some have all of these things, others have none.
