How to tie a fish hook

0

A fish hook is very sharp and contains one or more sharp points with barbs on them. It is very important that you hold the hook firmly by the sides that will be curved and refrain from touching the tips. The hook will also contain an eye similar to a needle. You should hold the hook in one hand while grasping the fishing line in your other. The line will be coming from the reel and will be threaded down through the eyes of the fishing pole. Feed the line through the eye of the hook and bring it out the other side forming a U shape. Take the free end of the line that was thread through the hook and wrap two to three times around the line going into the hook. You should then take the free end of the line and run it through the hole in the line that will be evident just above the hook’s eye and pull tight. You can now place your fish bait on the hook, drop in the water, and wait for the “Big One”.
