What is a WIA driver ?
WIA is one of the newer standards for imaging drivers developed by Microsoft for use in Window ME and XP. It stands for Windows Image Acquisition, and is a further development of the earlier STI drivers At the momentWIA drivers tend to offer a more simplistic interface and may not give the same level of control over the scanner compared to the STI driver Currently Fujitsu does not provide any WIA drivers, our existing STI drivers will continue to work on both ME and XP.
