Does PHS have premier or select teams?
A. No. One principle objective of the PHRSC is to give every child who wants to participate the opportunity to do so, promoting participation in recreational sports with an emphasis on skill development. Many PHS students are involved in premier or select sports teams, but those teams are independent of the school. At seventh grade, there are A and B teams for basketball and tryouts are held; everyone who wants to play makes one of the teams, however.
