What is ALPA-PAC Checkoff?

0

A political checkoff system – like ALPA-PAC checkoff – is a voluntary payroll deduction plan similar to ALPA dues checkoff. It allows you, as a U.S. ALPA member, to contribute to ALPA-PAC on a regular basis and have your donations automatically deducted from your paycheck. By signing up for ALPA-PAC checkoff you can make your contribution to the ALPA-PAC Giving Campaign, but pay only a little each month! Your checkoff donations will be combined with those of your fellow ALPA members and used to enhance the voice of airline pilots on Capitol Hill. How does ALPA-PAC Checkoff operate? Before you can participate in the ALPA-PAC checkoff program, your pilot group must work with your airline to implement such a program. There are two ways to do this: • Your pilot group is automatically entitled to use checkoff if the management and/or stockholders of your company already use such a system. You must, however, make your request for checkoff in writing. • If your company does not use a checkoff
