What is a BCBA?
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a professional who has met the educational requirements and experience to pass a board exam in behavior analysis. A BCBA, at minimum, has a Master’s degree. A BCBA is capable of conducting behavioral assessments, including functional analyses, and provides behavior analytic interpretations of the results. The BCBA also designs and supervises behavior analytic interventions and is able to effectively develop and implement appropriate assessment and intervention methods for use in unfamiliar situations and for a range of cases.
